NK has offices in Busan, Seoul, Shanghai and soon Singapore, and three engineering and manufacturing facilities in Busan and one in Shanghai.
NK is also a specialized manufacturer and supplier of high-pressure gas cylinders for a variety of industrial gases, and also natural gas storage, transportation and refueling systems.
More recently, NK is expanding into environmental technologies including renewable energy and water treatment systems. Recognizing the rising threat of the transfer of harmful aquatic species in ships’ ballast water, in 2002 NK began to develop ballast water treatment technologies, at the urging of major shipyards and at the request of the South Korean Government. NK’s efforts to provide effective ballast water treatment solutions are supported by the company’s established record in maritime engineering and design R&D; strong manufacturing base and global distribution and support network - established over decades.
